Impact-9 was founded in 2018 by John Fitzgerald. John has led the integration of new industrial technology in the energy, marine and aerospace sectors. His professional experience spans Rolls-Royce, start-up technology companies such as AWS Ocean Energy and power utility ESB. He has a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, specialising in the position mooring of wave energy converters.
